Britain's MI5 Warns of Chinese Communist Party Intervention in Politics, Unusual Notice to Members of Congress

The British Intelligence and Security Service (MI5) has issued an unusual warning to British lawmakers that a woman linked to the Chinese Communist Party's Central United Front Work Department (UFWD), which is responsible for external public opinion manipulation, has been interfering in British politics. MI5 believes that the woman was involved in activities to influence British political opinion in a favorable direction, such as by softening criticism of China on human rights and other issues, through donations and other means.
