On May 5, Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Vornyakov told The Nikkei that Ukraine has requested cooperation from more than 70 information technology (IT) companies to counter Russia's continued aggression. He believes that the request has been effective, as evidenced by the suspension of services in Russia by the U.S.-based PayPal on the same day, and he intends to step up his efforts.
