The Israeli head of state visited Turkey on April 9 for the first time in more than a decade. Turkish President Erdogan said after the summit that bilateral relations between Turkey and Israel have reached a "turning point" and that the two countries will further promote cooperation in the areas of trade and energy for peace in the region.
